Frances Denz has won the Trifecta. In January 2013 she was awarded the Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit for her service to business. Then she won the Tertiary Teaching Excellence Award and in February she was awarded the Senior New Zealander of the Year. The awards are recognition of her service and commitment to business and community.

Frances has a background in service. She has trained, mentored and supported over 6000 business owners to set up and manage business. With Ron Scott and the team at Stellaris Ltd, she is endeavouring to improve the governance of organisations, businesses and community groups. Having the only NZQA accredited course in directorship, Frances is committed to accountability and responsibility for those working in business.

Frances is proof that regardless of your background you can make a difference to other.  Frances has made a difference in age care, business education and governance. Starting in Dunedin, Frances has been involved with business all across New Zealand and her passion for business independence and success is on-going.  Her next challenge is to take her wisdom and determination to the wider world and make a difference in the governance area.

Frances is inspirational. Without the qualifications, she has created qualifications that work for people. On a personal level what makes me most proud is when someone I helped many years ago comes to me and says “you changed my life”.

NSANZ congratulates Frances on making a difference and being recognised for her work and service
